House Rules
Drinking is not permitted in the auditorium. The use of cameras and recording equipment by members of the public is not permitted in any of Ardhowen´s performance areas during performances. Mobile phones and pagers must be switched off during performances.
The management reserves the right to refuse admission to the ticket holder; or to request the ticket holder to leave the premises and to take appropriate action to enforce such a request.
Children
To comply with safety regulations, all children (including toddlers or babies) must have a valid ticket for a seat. Children under the age of three will only be admitted to productions specifically aimed at children and must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. We are pleased to provide storage for pushchairs or carry cots, which for safety reasons are not permitted in the auditorium.
Concessions
Concession rates are available for some performances. Concession rates apply to those under 16 years and over 60 years of age and are offered to disabled patrons and the unemployed. For concession tickets, photo identification may be required for proof of entitlement.
Facilities For Patrons With Disabilities
There is a maximum of three places for wheelchairs, in Row C in the auditorium. Access to this row, to the restaurant and bar and to the evening box office is free of steps. There is also a 'T' feature hearing aid inductive loop system which works best in rows C, D, E and F. It is important that you mention your requirements to our staff when booking and we will be pleased to assist in whatever way we can.
Group Bookings
Group Bookings can be made at Ardhowen with ONE FREE SEAT FOR EVERY TEN same priced tickets booked. Group bookings not paid for at the time of booking are held for up to THREE WEEKS ONLY. If not paid for within that period the booking will automatically cancel and the seats made available for resale.
N.B. Group bookings cannot be made through the Internet.
TICKETS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED NOR MONEY REFUNDED.
Car Parking
There are several large car parks in the grounds of Ardhowen with specially designated Disabled Parking bays.
Support Acts
For some performances not promoted by Ardhowen Theatre, a support act may proceed the main act, particularly for popular music events. Whilst Ardhowen Theatre endeavours to inform patrons about such support acts in advance, on some occasions it may not be possible.
Smoking Policy
It is against the law to smoke in these premises.
Latecomers
Latecomers will not be admitted to the auditorium until a suitable break in the performance.
Food and Drink
Under the terms of the Ardhowen Theatre Bar and Restaurant Franchise, patrons are not allowed to bring food or drinks into the building under any circumstances. Drinks purchased in the Theatre must not be brought into the Auditorium under any circumstances.
Photography for Publicity
Please note that throughout each season, the Ardhowen Theatre may photographically record activities promoted by the theatre that are taking place in the building, including Drama and Dance Workshops for young people. This is for promotional purposes and for inclusion in future publications. Strict editorial control is given to the output of this material. We ask patrons of minors who do not wish their children to beincluded in such photography to please contact the Theatre in writing, stating the name of the minor and the activity, before their participation in the event, workshop or class.
Voluntary Help At Your Theatre !
